About the position

The Data Architect position at Amentum is a business development role focused on supporting INDOPACOM, contingent upon award. The role involves performing data access analysis, developing strategies for data acquisition, and implementing databases. The Data Architect will define, design, and build both dimensional and relational databases, develop data warehousing blueprints, evaluate hardware and software platforms, and integrate systems. Additionally, the position requires the development and implementation of enterprise data strategies to manage and share data effectively, ensuring comprehensive governance of enterprise data assets.

Responsibilities

• Perform data access analysis and develop strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of a database.
• Define, design, and build dimensional and relational databases.
• Develop data warehousing blueprints and evaluate hardware and software platforms.
• Integrate systems and develop enterprise data strategies for data management and sharing.
• Ensure governance of enterprise data assets through a comprehensive data management approach.

Requirements

• 3 to 10 years of experience in data architecture or related field.
• BA/BS or MA/MS degree in a relevant discipline.
• TS/SCI clearance requirement.

• Experience with cloud-based data solutions.
