About the position

The Data Associate Manager, Digital Products & Experiences at IMAX plays a crucial role in managing and analyzing customer data to enhance marketing strategies and improve conversion rates. This position is centered around the operation of marketing technology data platforms, focusing on the integration and management of customer data. The individual will be responsible for tracking and analyzing data from various digital channels, including IMAX's eCommerce platforms and direct-to-consumer efforts. The role requires a strategic mindset to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in customer engagement through targeted and personalized marketing initiatives. In this position, the Data Associate Manager will perform strategic analyses on data from IMAX's digital channels, ensuring that the data collected is accurate and actionable. This includes managing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Customer Data Platform (CDP) integrations, overseeing data flows, maintaining data integrity, and executing segmentation efforts for various marketing campaigns. The individual will also be tasked with identifying and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Brand & Digital team, creating performance reports that inform department heads and executive teams about campaign effectiveness. Additionally, the role involves overseeing attribution linking, data endpoints, and tracking sources, as well as implementing measurement and reporting dashboards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to set up experiments that influence strategic direction and optimize performance. The Data Associate Manager will also develop forecasting models to provide insights that drive business growth and enhance customer relationships. Monitoring consumer data trends and privacy regulations is critical, as is conducting regular audits of IMAX's consumer data to mitigate risks and uncover new opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform strategic analyses on IMAX digital channel data, including imax.com marketing and eCommerce platforms, and direct to consumer channel efforts
  • Manage CRM and CDP integrations, data flows, data integrity, and segmentation efforts for email, paid advertising, imax.com, microsites, and campaigns
  • Identify and track customer data ecosystem KPIs for the Brand & Digital team
  • Create weekly, monthly, and ad hoc performance reports on campaign and brand initiatives for department heads and executive teams
  • Oversee and implement attribution linking, data end points, tracking sources, event consolidation and measurement, and reporting dashboards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to set up experiments, influence strategic direction, and optimize performance
  • Develop forecasting models at global and regional levels to provide insights and analysis to grow our business, partnerships, and customer relationships
  • Support the marketing technology platform stack and serve as the point person for end-to-end digital data lifecycle tracking and reporting
  • Monitor consumer data trends, consumer data privacy regulations, data platforms and perform regular IMAX consumer data audits to mitigate risks and uncover opportunities

Requirements

  • Degree in Data Science, Analytics, or other related field
  • 2+ years in data management in digital/marketing/consumer data
  • Experience with customer data platforms and digital analytics tools
  • Ability to set up data integrations and tracking sources for web and online consumer marketing channels
  • Skilled in data presentations, data visualization, data analysis, and prediction modeling
  • Ability to mine and analyze data while extracting insights
  • Proficiency in JavaScript tracking, HTML, and Analytics tools, e.g., Google Analytics, QuickSight, Tableau
