About the position

As a Data Automation Engineer, you will design and implement automation solutions that optimize data processes and streamline workflows in a mission-driven environment. This role involves working collaboratively with a dynamic team to enhance data management and operational efficiency through automation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement solutions to automate data capture and refinement.
• Interface with device APIs to gather and automate operational metrics.
• Administer and automate data pipelines across different environments.
• Work with a dynamic team to deploy code using GitLab, ensuring seamless operations.
• Diagnose and resolve complex data-related issues to improve system efficiency.
• Develop methods to resolve data incompatibility issues and recommend data management standards.
• Keep clear, up-to-date documentation for system configurations and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Strong skills in scripting, coding, and software development.
• Proficiency with Linux/Windows command-line tools.
• Experience with system administration or DevOps environments.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with eligibility to obtain a CI poly.
