About the position

The Database Management Specialist position at the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) involves analyzing, evaluating, and advising management on the effectiveness of data collection and reporting systems. The specialist will also develop procedures for assessing program management processes and coordinate activities related to data entry systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of data collection and reporting systems.
• Conduct in-depth quantitative and qualitative analysis of data collected.
• Recommend enhancements to data management systems to improve effectiveness.
• Develop and evaluate new or modified program management policies and objectives.
• Create procedures for assessing the effectiveness of program management processes.
• Coordinate activities related to data entry systems to manage client information.
• Interact with HUD Contractors to advise on necessary changes to technology systems.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National.
• One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service, including conducting qualitative and quantitative data analysis and developing reports.
• Experience in making recommendations to increase the efficiency of data collection systems.
• Training and creating procedures for data collection systems.
