About the position

The Data Center Break/Fix Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the management and delivery of business-as-usual (BAU) operations within Data Centers across the Americas. This role focuses on ensuring the operational efficiency and stability of critical hardware and IT operations, while also managing a team and maintaining key relationships with internal clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of BAU Data Centre operations across the Americas, including Enterprise, Colocation, Exchange, WAN, and Cloud facilities.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of critical Hardware Break/Fix, IMAC, and Smart Hands support for IT operations in Data Centres.
• Lead team and talent management initiatives, ensuring effective development and alignment with business goals.
• Handle critical event management, incident management, problem management, change management, risk management, and cost/contract management.
• Maintain ownership and manage key relationships with internal clients of the Data Centre Operations team.
• Ensure 24x7 escalation support is available, with occasional scheduled weekend work as required.
