About the position

In this position, you will be responsible for various tasks related to data center operations, specifically focusing on rack installation and server cabinet installation. Your role will involve structured cabling, which is crucial for ensuring that all components within the data center are properly connected and functioning. You will be expected to have a solid understanding of hardware, particularly with brands like Dell and HP, as well as experience in rack and stack operations. Troubleshooting will also be a key part of your responsibilities, as you will need to identify and resolve any issues that arise during installation or maintenance processes. A significant aspect of your job will be the assembly and installation of servers, switches, and cabling. You will need to be knowledgeable about copper cabling standards, including UTP, Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6a, as well as fiber optic cable installation. Understanding data rack cabling standards and best practices is essential, as you will be responsible for terminating cables and managing distribution frames. Additionally, you will be tasked with the installation of support structures to ensure that all equipment is securely mounted and organized. Your ability to read and interpret various types of build documents, schematics, and cable running lists will be critical in executing your duties effectively. Safety is paramount in this role, and you will be expected to operate various hand tools safely, maintain accurate inventory, and adhere to safety standards at all times. With a minimum of five years of experience in cabling complex data rack systems, you will bring valuable expertise to our team. Responsibilities

Requirements
