Knowledge Management, Inc. (KMI) is seeking two Hybrid Data Center Cloud Engineers to support both our physical data center infrastructure and cloud services. These positions require a versatile skill set that bridges on-premises data center management with cloud technologies, particularly Azure. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in information technology, with a focus on data center operations and cloud engineering. The role involves overseeing the physical data center infrastructure, managing server and network equipment, and ensuring the security and efficiency of both on-premises and cloud environments. As a Data Center Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying and configuring Azure cloud resources, including Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, and managing the integration of these resources with existing data center operations. You will also be tasked with optimizing workload distribution between local data centers and cloud resources, ensuring seamless connectivity and security between on-premises and cloud environments. This position is critical in supporting enterprise applications and requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail. The successful candidates will work in a hybrid environment, balancing responsibilities between physical data center management and cloud engineering tasks.
