About the position
The Data Center Construction Project Engineer 2 at Actalent is responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily activities on construction sites, ensuring effective collaboration with various stakeholders, including Microsoft teams and general contractors. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate day-to-day activities in the field.
- Regularly collaborate and engage key Microsoft stakeholders including Land Development, Microsoft Security, Legal, Design, Construction, and Operations teams.
- Work with the General Contractor engineering team to ensure that construction details and permit requirements are confirmed.
- Work with the General Contractor engineering team to ensure that materials are reviewed, approved, fabricated, and delivered to the site.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field required.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience required.
- General knowledge and experience with a variety of construction means and methods.
- Ability to work well within a fast-paced environment and collaborate with multiple teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
