The Data Center Critical Facilities Technician at Amazon Data Services, Inc. plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational integrity of AWS data centers. This position is responsible for the hands-on troubleshooting and operation of various electrical and mechanical equipment, including standby diesel generators, switchboards, UPSs, PDUs, AHUs, pumps, motors, and building automation systems. Technicians are expected to provide 24/7 shift coverage, which may include 12-hour rotating shifts across 3, 4, or 5-day work weeks. The role requires a current active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above, and the selected candidate must maintain this clearance throughout their employment.
