Meta is seeking an experienced, organized, and self-motivated individual to support the development of cost-effective energy solutions for our growing fleet of data centers. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the creation and execution of overarching and site-specific energy infrastructure strategies that are essential for the efficient operation of our rapidly scaling infrastructure. This position requires a deep understanding of energy management and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to establish energy requirements that align with Meta's project and company goals. In this role, you will lead negotiations for energy infrastructure agreements, ensuring they meet Meta's requirements and policies. You will present recommendations to leadership for approval, manage project due diligence, site development, construction, and operational processes related to energy matters. Your ability to build and maintain relationships with various internal partners, including site selection, strategic engineering, data center design, construction, facility operations, legal, and finance, will be critical to your success. Additionally, you will identify and drive process improvements to optimize project delivery, resulting in significant time and cost savings. You will also lead and manage various ad-hoc energy initiatives for Meta and its energy program, ensuring successful outcomes and delivering value to the organization. The role may require domestic travel, up to 25%, to support these initiatives.
