Meta is seeking an experienced, organized, and self-motivated individual to support the development of cost-effective energy solutions for our growing fleet of data centers. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the creation and execution of overarching and site-specific energy infrastructure strategies for Facebook's data centers. This position requires a strong understanding of energy management and the ability to communicate energy requirements effectively to both internal and external stakeholders. In this role, you will lead negotiations for energy infrastructure agreements that align with Meta's project and company requirements and policies. You will be responsible for presenting recommendations to leadership for approval, ensuring that all energy-related matters are managed efficiently. Your responsibilities will also include managing project due diligence, site development, construction, commercial agreements, and operational processes related to energy. You will be the primary point of communication and deliverables between utility partners, internal stakeholders, and consultants, building and maintaining relationships with various internal partners, including site selection, strategic engineering, data center design, construction, facility operations, legal, and finance. Additionally, you will identify and drive process improvements to optimize project delivery, resulting in significant time and cost savings. The role also involves leading and managing various ad-hoc energy initiatives for Meta and its energy program, driving successful outcomes and delivering value to the organization. The ability to travel domestically, as needed, is required, with travel expectations of up to 25%.
