Meta is seeking an experienced, organized, and self-motivated individual to support the development of cost-effective energy solutions for our growing fleet of data centers. The Data Center Energy Program Manager will play a crucial role in the creation and execution of overarching and site-specific energy infrastructure strategies for Facebook's data centers. This position requires a strong understanding of energy management and infrastructure, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners. In this role, you will establish and communicate energy requirements to both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are aligned with Meta's project and company requirements and policies. You will lead negotiations for energy infrastructure agreements, presenting recommendations to leadership for approval. Additionally, you will manage project due diligence, site development, construction, commercial agreements, and operational processes related to energy matters. The Data Center Energy Program Manager will also be responsible for leading communication and deliverables between utility partners, internal stakeholders, and consultants. Building and maintaining relationships with internal partners, including site selection, strategic engineering, data center design, construction, facility operations, legal, and finance, will be essential for success in this role. You will identify and drive process improvements to optimize project delivery, resulting in significant time and cost savings. Furthermore, you will lead and manage various ad-hoc energy initiatives for Meta and its energy program, driving successful outcomes and delivering value to the organization. The ability to travel domestically, as needed, is also a requirement, with travel expectations of up to 25%.
