About the position

CACI is seeking a Data Center Engineer (Mid) to join our team to support our intelligence customer in Springfield, VA/St. Louis, MO. In this role, you will be responsible for developing computer systems specifications that align with the government's system architecture standards. You will establish and document system parameters and formats, ensuring compatibility between hardware and software systems. Additionally, you will coordinate and modify system parameters based on existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities. As a Data Center Engineer, you will revise existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and enhance data handling, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage. You will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of storage, networking, and server hardware, ensuring the availability of development systems to end users through continuous system monitoring and issue remediation. Furthermore, you will apply required security updates and implementations mandated by DoD cyber security regulations. You will also oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience - 5+ years of related experience.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance required and eligibility to obtain a CI poly.
