We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Center Engineer with our industry-leading client in Nashville, TN. This position is critical to the operations of the data center, requiring a strong understanding of HP and Cisco standalone servers, enclosures, and blades. The role involves hands-on provisioning, which includes installing racks, setting up power, and installing Ethernet, fiber, and console cabling. The engineer will also be responsible for terminating copper, labeling, and managing remote power and KVM setups. The ideal candidate will have experience with data center space planning, server cabinet layout, and cabling, along with a full understanding of data center cabling standards, including fiber optics. This position is 100% on-site, requiring work five days a week from 12 am EST to 8 am EST, with some weekend work expected. We can facilitate W2 and corp-to-corp consultants. For our W2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision benefits, a 401k with company matching, and life insurance. The pay rate for this position is $26 per hour on a W2 basis.
