About the position

The Supply & Inventory Planning Program Manager is responsible for managing the data center equipment supply planning for both sustaining and new products. This role involves interpreting demand signals and translating them into effective supply and inventory plans, ensuring optimal planning decisions are made. The Program Manager will collaborate with various teams including Supply Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, and Fulfillment to develop and execute accurate supply and inventory plans throughout the product life cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Manage material supply, including inventory, to meet existing and new product demand requirements.
  • Proactive communication of sustaining and new product material plans and status to internal customers.
  • Identify and quickly solve supply chain gaps and inefficiencies, documenting process solutions and requirements.
  • Define and manage clear business metrics and goals to manage supply chain performance.
  • Leverage market intelligence and statistical inputs to drive improvements in inventory models and supply chain buffers.
  • Develop short and long term supply models to minimize total costs and inventories while maintaining service levels.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or equivalent practical experience in relevant industry.
  • Project Management experience with the ability to communicate/collaborate cross-functionally with technical/non-technical groups.
  • Experience using Material Requirements Planning Tools.
  • Spreadsheet/database capabilities, able to create models and maneuver within them.

Nice-to-haves

  • MS/MBA degree in Business Process Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related planning disciplines.
  • Expertise in Analytics / SQL / BigQuery.
  • A Supply Chain Certification.
  • Knowledge of financial and cost accounting practices.
  • Deep knowledge of S&OP processes and experience in development and implementation of planning systems.
  • Understanding and experience in using ERP and PLM systems and tools.
  • Experience in planning materials for new product launches and transitions.
