About the position

The Data Center Facility Technician is responsible for maintaining and ensuring the operational efficiency of data center facilities. This role involves working night shifts and requires technical expertise, particularly for veterans with a background in Navy Nuclear Engineering or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot data center equipment and systems.
• Ensure the operational efficiency of the facility.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Respond to alarms and alerts to address issues promptly.
• Document maintenance activities and report on facility conditions.

Requirements

• Experience as a Navy Nuclear Electrician or Machinist Mate, or equivalent experience in a technical field.
• Ability to work night shifts and weekends as required.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with data center operations and maintenance.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems and electrical systems.
