About the position

The Data Center Hardware Engineering team is seeking an experienced electrical integration engineer to contribute to projects from the initial design conception through to mass production. This role is highly cross-functional, requiring the ability to balance the needs and priorities of various teams, including mechanical, power, software, firmware, silicon design, hardware validation, and reliability engineering. The successful candidate will be integral to the design, specification, and realization of high-performance compute solutions tailored to meet specific customer requirements. In this design and validation position, the engineer will own the electrical engineering implementation, documentation, and validation of customized compute designs. The ideal candidate will possess electrical systems integration experience, particularly in high-speed digital design utilizing high-performance silicon. Daily tasks will encompass electrical design, simulation, bring-up, debugging, and validation. Additionally, the role involves providing factory build support and engaging in multi-disciplinary cross-functional collaboration and negotiation, where strong documentation and communication skills are essential. Responsibilities

  • Own electrical engineering implementation, documentation, and validation of customized compute designs.
  • Conduct electrical design, simulation, bring-up, debugging, and validation.
  • Provide factory build support for hardware integration.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, power, software, firmware, silicon design, hardware validation, and reliability engineering teams.
  • Negotiate and balance the needs and priorities of various teams involved in the project.
