About the position

The Data Center Installation Technician role involves working on a hyperscale data center project in Salt Lake City, UT. The position focuses on the installation of various systems and components essential for data center operations, requiring a strong understanding of large-scale data center environments and installation practices.

Responsibilities

• Install racks, ladder racks, fiber runners, and cable trays
• Perform tasks such as cutting and installing Unistrut, all-thread, and basket trays
• Drill anchors and bend waterfalls for cable management
• Install and terminate CAT 6 cabling for EPMS/BMS, security cameras, RPPs, and WAPs
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting for installed systems

Requirements

• Experience with hyperscale data centers (preferred)
• Proficiency in handling conveyance systems, fiber runners, and ladder racks
• Familiarity with CAT 6 cable pulling, terminating, and testing
• Ability to read blueprints and install EPMS/BMS and security systems
