About the position

The Data Center Logistics Technician role at Insight Global involves managing logistics tasks within a data center environment for a Fortune 500 client. The technician will be responsible for coordinating deliveries, performing inventory audits, and ensuring compliance with data center regulations. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned tasks and escalate issues during high-volume work activity or escalation-based situations.
• Coordinate, prepare, and execute incoming/outgoing deliveries, including purchase order receiving and Rack Movement Supervisor activities.
• Ensure complete and detailed physical inventory tracking and staging.
• Perform inventory cycle audits, data corrections, and various data center regulatory compliance or certification control audit activities.
• Manage material movement, including shipping/receiving and inventory management per standard process.
• Perform destruction of data bearing devices following all documented procedures and runbooks.
