About the position

As a CBRE Data Center Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and corrective repairs within a Data Center operation. This role is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function, where you will provide technical maintenance services in critical client environments. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that all mechanical and engineering systems and technical equipment are functioning optimally, which includes conducting daily site inspections and performing necessary servicing and maintenance. You will also be tasked with ensuring that the site's environmental conditions are safe for work, responding to Building Management System (BMS) alarms, and completing emergency repairs as needed. In addition to routine maintenance, you will work closely with third-party vendors to ensure compliance with company-developed processes, procedures, and all applicable laws and regulations. You will complete planned preventative maintenance (PM) and reactive maintenance on all equipment, check BMS for running and alarm conditions, and respond to HVAC-related client problems. Your responsibilities will also include conducting building walkthroughs, taking meter readings from UPS, PDUs, and utilities, and providing fixes to facility and plant faults and defects. You will be expected to complete all assigned work according to established processes and procedures, follow all safety processes and requirements, and ensure that all regulatory requirements and quality standards are met.
