About the position

The Data Center Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of a data center, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of electrical, mechanical, and network systems. This role involves managing maintenance services, leading a team, and collaborating with architecture teams to support technical engineering and infrastructure planning. The manager will implement operational strategies to achieve high availability and reliability of critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling personnel to provide maintenance services for data center infrastructure operations.
• Leading a Data Center Services team and collaborating with architecture teams for project planning and oversight.
• Ensuring all services are performed in accordance with company policies and safety requirements.
• Scheduling maintenance services necessary to maintain the facility's infrastructure systems.
• Performing services efficiently while minimizing environmental impact.

Requirements

• 7+ years of data center experience preferred.
• Experience in a customer-facing position.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• High school diploma or GED with 2 years of cumulative experience, or an Associate's/Bachelor's degree, or 4 years of applicable job-specific experience required.
• 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

Nice-to-haves
