About the position

The position involves designing and building AI Data Centers, focusing on planning a scalable and resilient network fabric that supports AI compute and storage nodes. The role requires collaboration with various teams to enhance network provisioning, ensure optimum performance, and deliver technical solutions to customer problems.

Responsibilities

  • Improve and work with automation tools to speed up network provisioning and enhance observability of network health.
  • Help with decision making on the network component level across integrated cloud systems based on performance, features, and cost.
  • Define systems implementation and integration approach to ensure optimum performance and reliability across servers, networks, and related utilities.
  • Deliver end-to-end technical solutions to solve customer problems, including deploying solutions and preparing documentation.
  • Collaborate with other teams to analyze next generation requirements and opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 6+ years of experience, or a Master's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 4+ years of experience.
  • 5+ years managing and troubleshooting complex Data Center networks.
  • 3+ years working with network technologies such as VXLAN/EVPN.
  • 5+ years of experience with Classic Routing and Switching technologies.
  • 3+ years of experience with Arista Hardware, EoS, and eAPI.
  • Experience with monitoring techniques for complex networks and telemetry streaming.
  • Comfortable working with Linux-like OS.
  • Experience with Network Automation (Ansible and similar tools).
  • Experience with Network Zero Touch Provisioning.

Nice-to-haves

  • Python/GO programming skills.
  • Experience with network services such as DDI, Firewalls, and Load Balancers.
  • Knowledge of server platforms and NICs.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD methodology and GitHub/GitLab repository distribution.
  • Experience in Data Center planning including rack elevations and cabling plans.
  • IP planning experience.
