About the position

The Data Center Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of data centers across the Americas, ensuring efficient management of hardware break/fix operations, and maintaining critical IT infrastructure. This role involves managing vendor relationships, leading a team, and ensuring compliance with operational standards while supporting the firm's technology requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of business-as-usual (BAU) Data Centre operations across the Americas.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of critical Hardware Break/fix, IMAC, and Smart hands supporting IT operations.
• Lead team and talent management initiatives to develop staff and align with business goals.
• Handle critical event management, incident management, problem management, change management, and risk management.
• Manage cost and contract relationships with vendors and internal clients.
• Ensure 24x7 escalation support is available, including occasional weekend work as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 2 years of college education.
• Basic understanding of hardware components such as CPU, PCI, and graphic cards.
• Some managerial experience, particularly in managing vendors.

• Certifications related to data center operations (not mandatory).
• Strong email etiquette skills.
