About the position

As a Data Center Project Manager - Logistics (DCPM-L) on the U.S. Government Airgap team, you will play a crucial role in delivering core infrastructure and foundational technologies for dedicated online services supporting the U.S. Government. This position involves managing logistics operations, ensuring compliance, and leading a team to optimize inventory management and procurement processes within a large-scale data center environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage overall day-to-day operations of inbound and outbound logistics to ensure smooth processes.
  • Handle escalated issues related to inbound and outbound logistics.
  • Lead a team responsible for material movement, inventory management, and regulatory compliance audits.
  • Drive warranty process management and ensure expectations are met in handling escalations.
  • Oversee the destruction of Data Bearing Devices (DBD) and ensure compliance with customer information security.
  • Provide thought leadership on procurement methodologies and monitor outcomes for the region.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to process price validation and draft purchase orders.
  • Contribute to risk management standards and coordinate with internal teams for equipment orders.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to ensure compliance and drive consistency in processes and services.
  • Run daily safety huddles and manage escalated task risks and reported issues.
  • Engage with stakeholders to document, track, and resolve issues effectively.

Requirements

  • High School Qualification or equivalent AND 2+ years of experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
  • Active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in Critical Environment infrastructure or physical IT infrastructure, or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year of project management experience.
  • Applicable certifications such as APICS, CompTIA, Network Certification, PMP, ITIL, or CDCP.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's or Technical College Degree in Computer Science, Math, Telecommunications, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Critical Environment infrastructure or physical IT infrastructure, or equivalent experience.
  • Certification in APICS/ASCM, IAITAM, or equivalent.
