Nesco Resource is seeking multiple Data Center Technicians and Engineers for various data center relocation projects across several locations, including Reno, NV, San Jose/Bay area, and Central Washington. This role is ideal for individuals who are local to these areas or are willing to travel for work. The position offers a flexible opportunity to earn extra income while maintaining a full-time job or while searching for a permanent role. Technicians can expect to work onsite for up to 10-12 hours per shift, with project managers and leads available to provide direction and ensure adherence to process expectations. The primary responsibilities of the Data Center Technician include hands-on tasks such as racking and stacking, installing and de-installing server farm and data center hardware, cabling, performing reverse wire pulls and snips, staging rails for future installations, and participating in build-outs. This role requires a solid understanding of data center operations and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Candidates who are interested and qualified may also have opportunities to travel domestically and support on-call service level agreement (SLA) work, making this a dynamic position with varied responsibilities and potential for growth.
