About the position

As a Data Center Solution Architect at Xerox Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in the presales and implementation of data center solutions. This position requires a deep understanding of data center architecture, cloud computing, and IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions that meet the specific needs of our clients, ensuring that they are scalable, secure, and efficient. Your expertise will guide clients through the complexities of data center operations, helping them to optimize their resources and improve their overall IT strategy. In this role, you will collaborate closely with sales teams to understand client requirements and translate them into technical specifications. You will conduct assessments of existing data center environments and provide recommendations for improvements. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders will be essential in ensuring that clients are fully informed and confident in the solutions being proposed. Additionally, you will be involved in the implementation phase, working alongside project managers and technical teams to ensure that solutions are delivered on time and within budget. You will also be responsible for providing training and support to clients post-implementation, ensuring that they can effectively utilize the solutions provided. Your role will be critical in building long-term relationships with clients and establishing Xerox as a trusted partner in their data center operations.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proven experience in data center architecture and design.

  • Experience with presales activities and client engagement.
