About the position

We are seeking an immediate need for a Data Center Support Engineer in Edison, NJ. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT hardware support, with a focus on deploying IBM firmware on servers. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows Operating Systems, as well as experience with Microsoft Hyper-V. The Data Center Support Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data center infrastructure, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and providing technical support to our team and clients. This position is critical to maintaining the reliability and efficiency of our data center operations, and the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our IT initiatives and projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for IT hardware in the data center.
• Deploy IBM firmware on servers as required.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Operating Systems.
• Manage and support Microsoft Hyper-V environments.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in the data center.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal data center operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in IT hardware support.
• In-depth knowledge of deploying IBM firmware on servers.
• Experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows Operating Systems.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V.
