As a CBRE Data Center Technical Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of a large Data Center. This position involves performing preventative maintenance and complex corrective repairs, which are essential for maintaining the integrity and functionality of critical client environments. You will be part of the Critical and Technical Services job function, responsible for delivering technical maintenance services that are vital to the operation of the data center. Your leadership will be key in coordinating the daily activities of your team, establishing work schedules, assigning tasks, and ensuring that staff are cross-trained to handle various responsibilities effectively. In this role, you will implement ongoing improvements to preventive maintenance programs, ensuring that all maintenance and safety procedure manuals are up to date and effective. You will coordinate maintenance efforts with outside contractors and other personnel, overseeing all building systems, including fire/life safety, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems. Staying current with the latest technology trends will be essential to your success. You will also be responsible for maintaining open lines of communication with tenants, clients, owners, and vendors, responding promptly to emergency situations and customer concerns.
