Volt is hiring entry level Data Center Technicians in Mesa, AZ. As a Data Center Technician, you will assist with decommissioning computer servers, networking devices, and associated equipment in a cutting-edge data center for one of the largest tech companies in the world. This role involves physical tasks such as removing hard drives from servers, disconnecting cables, and organizing equipment for shipping.

Responsibilities

• Assist with decommissioning computer servers and networking devices.
• Remove hard drives from servers.
• Disconnect all cables from servers and devices.
• Remove servers from racks.
• Organize equipment on pallets for shipping.

Requirements

• Familiarity with computer hardware, specifically hard drives and ethernet cables.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently as needed.
• Willingness to stand and walk for an entire 8-hour shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
