The Data Center Technician position at a global quantitative trading firm in Little Rock, AR, involves maintaining a large fleet of servers and infrastructure. The role focuses on electrical and HVAC systems, troubleshooting, and coordinating installations and repairs with external vendors, all while adhering to high standards of organization and detail.

Responsibilities

• Electrical Work
• Working on Switchboards and Switchgear
• Maintaining Diesel Generators
• Managing Power Distribution
• Servicing UPS / Uninterruptible Power Supplies
• Working with Cooling Towers, Chillers, CRAC, CRAH, CDU, Dry Coolers, and Liquid Cooling
• Operating under ASHRAE standards
• Racking and stacking IT equipment
• Cabling
• Troubleshooting hardware issues

Requirements

• Experience as a licensed electrician and/or working in industrial HVAC is preferred
• Military experience supporting critical environments is highly valued
• Experience working in a data center on the facilities side, including power and cooling infrastructure
