About the position

The Data Center Technician I is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and operational standards of controlled environments within data centers. This role involves meticulous cleaning of surfaces and equipment to adhere to strict cleanliness guidelines, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning operations under strict guidelines.
• Monitor cleaning procedures to ensure all tasks are completed promptly and correctly.
• Micro-clean all surfaces within the general and critical environment, including ceilings, walls, equipment, and floors.
• Follow customer standard operating procedures in precise detail, including documentation.
• Identify deviations in cleaning and implement corrective and preventative actions.
• Review changes to SOP/SOW documentation and provide re-training as necessary.
• Assist in cross-training other Controlled Contamination Services personnel.
• Perform other duties as defined by the supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemical components and safety requirements.
• Ability to learn and understand Scope of Work & Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Pass a background check and I-9.
