About the position

The Data Center Technician III role is designed for intermediate-level IT professionals who are passionate about technology and computer hardware. This position involves working in a data center environment, focusing on physical upgrades, implementation, optimizations, and troubleshooting of server hardware. Technicians will be responsible for deploying circuit boards, running diagnostics, and creating documentation, all while addressing customer inquiries and supporting data center operations.

Responsibilities

• Address customer inquiries via support tickets from inception through resolution with minimal or no supervision.
• Support data center operations and IT systems, network services, and business-critical processes to deliver customer products and services.
• Provide technical and operational support related to colocation, connectivity, and network products and services.
• Support internal networks, IT infrastructure, computers, electronics, and telephone systems.
• Install and deploy IT and network hardware.
• Make and run patch cables as well as verify testing cable paths.
• Support maintenance of infrastructure, network equipment, and network services, including break-fix work.
• Perform Data Center hardware and inventory audits.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years of IT experience, preferably in a Data Center environment.
