The Data Center Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, modification, and repair of computer storage and networking equipment within data centers. This role involves handling customer requests for service changes, troubleshooting issues, and providing input on design and service enhancements while ensuring effective communication and collaboration within the team.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, modify, and repair computer storage and networking equipment in data centers.
• Handle customer requests for moves, adds, and changes to services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to data center operations.
• Interact regularly with performance monitoring, design, billing, and management solutions.
• Provide input on design and recommendations for service enhancements.

Requirements

• 2 years of post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
• One year of computing support or related experience, including hardware support.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in computer hardware and software troubleshooting.
