About the position

The Data Center Technician role at TEKsystems involves working in a dynamic data center environment, focusing on the physical upgrades, implementation, optimization, and troubleshooting of data center operations. Responsibilities

• Address customer inquiries via support tickets from inception through resolution with minimal or no supervision.
• Support data center operations and IT systems, network services, and business-critical processes to deliver customer products and services.
• Provide technical and operational support related to colocation, connectivity, and network products and services.
• Support internal networks, IT infrastructure, computers, electronics, and telephone systems.
• Install and deploy IT and network hardware.
• Make and run patch cables and verify testing cable paths.
• Support maintenance of infrastructure, network equipment, and network services, including break-fix work.
• Perform Data Center hardware and inventory audits.

Requirements

• Intermediate level IT experience (minimum of 6 months).
• Experience in data center operations.
• Proficiency in computer hardware.
