About the position

The Data Center Technician role involves providing hardware break/fix support for servers in a fast-paced IT service delivery environment. The technician will work with various server models and is expected to troubleshoot and maintain equipment while ensuring effective communication with end users and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain products/equipment (DELL, IBM, and Client Servers).
• Identify, analyze, and repair product failures, ordering and replacing parts as needed.
• Determine and recommend which products or services best fit the customers' needs.
• Familiarize with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Plan and accomplish goals relying on experience and judgment.

Requirements

• Possess a positive attitude and strong analytical skills.
• Must be a self-starter able to work independently and within a team environment.
• Possess a professional demeanor and the ability to develop effective working relationships with end users and stakeholders.
• Working experience with Remote Access Cards (IBM RSA, Client iLo, Dell IDRAC).
• Working experience with Client BL/DL/M/Blades/Apollo.
• Working experience with DELL 13G/14G servers.
• Working experience with IBM servers.

• Experience in software support.
