About the position

This position requires on-site work in Kent and Downtown Seattle, with a focus on maintaining documentation and acting as an escalation point for junior technicians. The role is entry-level and involves shift work, specifically night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related problems in the data center.
• Perform racking, stacking, and cabling tasks, specifically with fiber optics.
• Prepare racks for relocation between data centers.
• Create and maintain documentation on supported technologies.
• Act as an escalation point for junior technicians.
• Execute small projects independently and assist in larger local projects.

Requirements

• Experience in data center operations and troubleshooting hardware issues.
• Knowledge of cabling and fiber optics.
• Understanding of IT principles such as computer architecture and the OSI model.
