Data Center Technician

About the position

Microsoft's data center footprint is in hypergrowth and are standing up 7+ new sites by the end of 2025. This team will be focused on building out the IDFs. This is a maximum effort deployment and requires all hands on deck.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 support across 4 shifts - A-side/B-side days and nights
• Focus on building out the IDFs in new data center sites

Requirements

• Experience in data center operations
• Knowledge of cabling and hardware installation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with racking and cabling in data centers
• Intermediate level experience in data center roles
