About the position

The Data Center Technician role at Expedite Solutions involves ensuring the optimal functioning of data center operations through routine checks, maintenance, and collaboration with other technicians. The technician will be responsible for monitoring sensor readings, performing preventative maintenance, and addressing any issues proactively to maintain service quality before clients notice them.

Responsibilities

• Go through Rounds and Readings
• Check the data center to ensure all sensors and temps are reading correctly and accurately
• Check around the building for anything that needs to be maintained
• Be proactive in making sure all issues are found before they are found by the client
• Conduct generator testings
• Work through work orders
• Complete and close out work orders daily
• Perform PM services
• Collaborate with resident electrician
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance
• Lift up to 50lbs as required

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in a data center (Preferred)
• 3 years of experience with crack units (Preferred)
• Ability to commute to Aurora, CO 80012 (Required)
• Ability to relocate to Aurora, CO 80012 before starting work (Required)
