The technician will support the product development lab by maintaining servers, installing components, and facilitating remote engineering tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and operate servers in the product development lab.
• Install and debug hardware components such as CPUs, memory, and storage devices.
• Maintain and rack servers, ensuring proper operation and configuration.
• Reset systems and swap out parts as needed for offsite resources.
• Schedule server usage and communicate effectively with remote engineers.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in the high-tech industry.
• Familiarity with hardware installation and server assembly.
• Basic proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with remote teams.
• Attention to detail to ensure complex requests are accurately executed.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Physical ability to lift 50lbs and work under raised floors.
