About the position

The Data Center Technician will work with our Infrastructure Operations Team to oversee day-to-day operations as well as larger projects. Work includes installing, troubleshooting, and repairing servers/network equipment, hardware diagnosis and replacement of failed components, managing work and priorities through a ticketing system while coordinating with the Data Center Manager, performing hardware troubleshooting and component replacement for servers and networking infrastructure, replacing and maintaining cabling and wiring, collaborating with outside teams to resolve issues, and traveling occasionally.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Experience with Linux or similar OS
  • Good knowledge of network design and protocols
  • Superior understanding of storage devices
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to lift 35-50 pounds
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Ability to function under pressure with multiple priorities
