About the position

Cormint Data Systems is seeking full-time Data Center Technicians to support a unique data center environment in Fort Stockton, Texas. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing cryptocurrency miners and facility equipment, working alongside fellow technicians under the supervision of a team leader. The position requires a passion for technology and a diverse skill set in facility maintenance, including cable management and electronics repair.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain common data center assets including servers and software
• Provide troubleshooting and preventative maintenance for ASIC mining devices
• Prepare ASIC mining devices for repairs; return repaired miners to operational status
• Complete regular walkthroughs, track inventory, and log system checks
• Maintain records and event logs
• Ship and receive equipment
• Rack and install equipment
• Respond to service issues and requests promptly
• Communicate daily with the site team
