About the position

The Data Center Technician role involves supporting the completion of a project at the CyrusOne Data Center in Chandler for a duration of 3-4 weeks, followed by a transfer to the Iron Mountain Data Center in Phoenix. Technicians will primarily work on the pre-construction side of the CyrusOne facility, with occasional tasks on the live side. The position requires running CAT 6 and fiber cables for various systems, installing cable trays, and performing other related tasks in a data center environment.

Responsibilities

• Running CAT 6 and fiber cables for various systems and cameras as disclosed by the client.
• Installing cable trays for cable/fiber management.
• Roughing in cables (copper/fiber) and final dressing.
• Labeling and testing cables.
• Performing miscellaneous tasks related to data center operations, both indoors and outdoors.

Requirements

• OSHA 10 certification is mandatory before hire.
• Electrical background with experience in running conduit is preferred.
• Experience in data centers or large commercial buildings is preferred.
