About the position

The Data Center Technician at Corelleaf Design Studio is responsible for supporting the Server Management Team in a product development lab. This role involves server assembly, operation, software installation, and debugging/repairing hardware. The technician will maintain servers, install parts, and facilitate offsite resources by managing server usage and performing necessary resets and part swaps.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and operate servers in the product development lab.
• Install and debug hardware components such as CPUs, memory, and storage media.
• Maintain and rack servers, ensuring proper operation and configuration.
• Provide support for offsite resources by resetting systems and swapping out parts.
• Record part installations and locations in a log as they occur.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in the high-tech industry.
• Familiarity with hardware installation and server assembly.
• Basic proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Strong communication skills to interact with remote engineers.
• Attention to detail to follow complex requests accurately.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.

• Experience in automated testing.
• Prior experience working in a data center.
• Ability to cross-train in test planning and evaluation.
