About the position

The Data Center Technician role at Tek One Solutions involves working on a short-term project focused on fiber replacement within a data center environment. The position requires hands-on experience with fiber installation and management, ensuring that all installations meet the required standards. The technician will primarily work during the day but may also have occasional night shifts depending on site needs.

Responsibilities

• Replace fiber jumpers in the data center
• Test and patch fiber trunks into switches
• Dress and install fiber trunks into overhead (OH) panels
• Ensure all fiber installations meet data center standards

Requirements

• Experience in fiber installation and dressing
• Knowledge of testing and patching fiber
• Ability to work efficiently in a data center environment
• Familiarity with data center fiber management and switches
