About the position

The Low Voltage Services Technician at Mirapath, Inc. is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low and high voltage cabling systems. This role involves working on various cabling projects, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and maintaining strong customer relationships through effective communication and outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation of low and high voltage cabling projects for clients.
• Conduct cabling rough-in and termination for all media types.
• Test and document cabling for all media types.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot low voltage cable systems.
• Work with various cable types including Electrical, CAT 5e & 6 twisted pair, optical fiber, and coax.
• Perform cable pulling, suspension, fireproofing, terminating, and testing in accordance with NEC and local regulations.
• Execute basic pipe bending and fitting of conduit.
• Create a positive experience and relationship with customers through strong communication and service.
• Ensure all equipment and information are on site to meet schedules and deadlines.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and requirements.
• Perform all work in an organized, neat, and quality manner.
• Complete other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• At least 2 years' experience in a related field.
• Ability to lift/carry/setup a 75 lb. ladder.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong work ethic and punctuality.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Successful completion of drug and background screening tests required.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
