About the position

The Data Center Technician role involves working at a premier client in the data center industry, focusing on the integration, configuration, and troubleshooting of PC hardware and operating systems. This position offers an opportunity for growth and learning in a dynamic environment, where technicians will engage in hands-on electronic assembly and problem-solving tasks.

Responsibilities

• Loading operating systems and proprietary data systems
• Integrating and configuring PC hardware, operating system software, and peripherals
• Assembling PC electronic components, installing circuit boards, disk drives, mass storage devices, and peripheral equipment
• Troubleshooting and resolving integration and configuration problems
• Diagnosing malfunctions and equipment failures and taking appropriate actions
• Completing documentation regarding defective parts replacement, shipping, and build process updates

Requirements

• A+ Certification (higher level certifications are a plus)
• Basic knowledge of job content, practices, and procedures
• Ability to perform routine functions with minimal complexity or variation
• Ability to work well under supervision and follow detailed instructions
• Good communication skills and ability to interact with immediate peers
