Genesis10 is currently seeking Data Center Technicians for a contract position at our client's location in Hillsboro, OR. This role is designed for individuals who are ready to take on the responsibilities of a Senior Data Center Technician, acting as a point of escalation for Level 1 and Level 2 associate data center engineers. The successful candidate will work closely with contracted L2 engineers who are responsible for hardware break-fix activities, ensuring that service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) are consistently met. Given the global nature of our client's operations, the quality of work performed in this role will have a direct impact on the stability and performance of the company's enterprise computer systems. Moreover, you will be tasked with processing server nodes for decommissioning and preparing them for pickup by our third-party IT asset management vendor. It is essential to ensure that the client's data center house rules are followed, and any concerns regarding cleanliness or other issues must be reported to leadership immediately. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining the integrity and performance of the data center environment, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently.
