About the position

The Data Centre Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery of business-as-usual (BAU) operations across various data centre facilities in the Americas. This role involves managing critical IT operations, ensuring effective team and talent management, and maintaining key relationships with internal clients. The position requires a strong focus on incident management, risk management, and cost management, while also providing 24x7 escalation support.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of BAU Data Centre operations across the Americas.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of critical hardware break/fix, IMAC, and smart hands support.
• Lead team and talent management initiatives.
• Handle critical event management, incident management, and problem management.
• Manage change management and risk management processes.
• Oversee cost and contract management for data centre operations.
• Ensure 24x7 escalation support is available, including occasional weekend work.
