About the position

As a Senior Associate within the Data Change Governance & Management (DCGM) team at JPMorgan Chase, you will play a crucial role in managing change processes that support Wholesale Credit Risk. Your primary responsibility will be to minimize operational and financial risks through effective change management initiatives, ensuring transparency and proactive management of data change requests. You will be involved in executing program implementations, documenting business requirements, conducting client impact analyses, and performing regression testing.

Responsibilities

  • Execute repeatable strategy and streamlined process for seamless execution of change requests.
  • Manage priorities through planning and effective communication, articulating status and big picture to the project team and stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify risks and manage escalations.
  • Monitor change progress and provide regular status updates to management.
  • Develop polished presentations and materials for stakeholders.
  • Analyze changes coming through JIRA and improve impact assessment by collecting feedback from stakeholders.
  • Partner with Finance team through retrospectives to enhance processes.
  • Manage release plans, including project scope, critical milestones, sourcing requirements, test strategy, and execution.
  • Maintain and update control metrics for monthly reviews.
  • Create project implementation runbooks and obtain stakeholder sign-off.

Requirements

  • Confident individual with good judgment and poise for stakeholder interaction.
  • Proficient in implementing and executing change operating models.
  • Knowledge of various asset classes including TCP, Derivatives, and Securities.
  • Collaborative style with flexibility and team player mentality.
  • Effective communicator capable of dealing with diverse employees and clients.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong follow-through and adaptability to team environments.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).

Nice-to-haves

  • PMP, Six Sigma, Agile, or other formal project management discipline.
  • Working knowledge of an industry-recognized Project Management methodology.
  • Experience in data visualization software such as Tableau or Alteryx.
  • Experience in a project management role is beneficial but not required.
  • Subject Matter Expertise across Credit and/or Market Risk.
