About the position

The position at SpartanNash involves providing general support to the distribution center, performing basic computer operations, and monitoring customer orders to ensure the successful completion of production schedules. Responsibilities

  • Perform basic computer operations and monitor the file server and peripheral equipment.
  • Ensure the successful completion of assigned production schedules.
  • Support customer service functions and assist with production tasks and issues.
  • Handle customer billing inquiries, make corrections, and release billing orders.
  • Interact with internal customers such as the sales department and customer service as necessary.
  • Key data from source documents into the appropriate system in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist in mail room operations including batching and sorting incoming/outgoing/inter-office mails.
  • Create, print, and distribute retail labels; monitor and schedule tasks; distribute reports to retail locations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • One year of general office experience/computer operations preferred.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office and various PC software packages.
